Razer Blade 15 Gaming Laptop Review
Like all the previous models, the Razer Blade 15 (2020) does not come cheap. Its base configuration will set you back $1,599 (£1,699, AU$3,399), for an Intel Core i7, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and a 256GB SSD. Our beast of a review model will cost much more, however, costing a whopping $2,999. Still, if you’re after a device that can dominate in the latest AAA games and do it in style, this laptop may be worth it.
The Razer Blade 15 (2020) is available right now, starting at $1,599 (£1,699, AU$3,399). That intro price will get you an Intel Core i7 processor which every model has along with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD.
But, of course, because this is a device that is meant to be one of the top gaming laptops on the market, you can configure this thing to your hearts content, with up to an RTX 2080 Super, a 1TB SSD and a 4K OLED touch display. However, you will have to pay for that privilege, as that configuration will cost you an eye-watering $3,299 (£3,349, AU$6,549).
Razer Huntsman Review
The Razer Huntsman is an amazing mechanical gaming keyboard. It features unique Razer clicky optical switches that feel responsive & are great to type on. This board is very well built & looks sleek and it offers full RGB lighting. Unfortunately, a nice and comfortable wrist rest would have been nice to have, as it’s not the most ergonomic keyboard to use for long periods. Nevertheless, its design is so elegant, but some might not like the clicky switches.
Keycap Material ABS – The Razer Huntsman is very elegant built. It has an aluminum plate on top of a solid all plastic body, which results in very little flex. The keycaps are ABS plastic, but they still feel decent.
Razer Kraken Review
The Razer Kraken is Razer’s previous pair of wired gaming headphones. While Razer has previously marketed this range of gaming headsets towards esports enthusiasts, the new name change and generous £79.99 price means the Razer Kraken should appeal to a wide spectrum of gamers and could well be one of the best value gaming headsets currently available.
Razer has added thicker and comfier padding to the headband, cooling gel-infused ear cushions to prevent your head getting toasty, and an improved microphone that does a better job of rejecting ambient noise.
Some may be disappointed to see the audio quality has been left untouched with this upgrade, but since the previous Razer headset offered such a fantastic performance in the first place it’s difficult to grumble, especially since there’s no price hike accompanying the upgrade.
